Job Description

Kingsway Locums are looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Fallin.

This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across various primary care services, providing options for clinicians experienced in same day presentations, long term condition reviews and proactive health interventions.

You will be supported by an established multidisciplinary team with clear clinical governance, structured triage processes and streamlined admin pathways, enabling you to focus on high-quality patient care while maintaining a strong work life balance.

Up to 3 days a week available with flexibility on sessions and start dates.

Role focused on autonomous assessment and treatment within a well-supported primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Undertake autonomous clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute presentations.
• Manage minor illness and same day demand using evidence-based decision making.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately in line with local policies and scope of practice.
• Refer, safety-net and escalate patients appropriately to other services.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using the practice clinical system.
• Contribute to clinical audit, service improvement and safe working practices.

Requirements
• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with relevant postgraduate training.
• Independent Prescriber qualification with recent prescribing experience.
• Recent UK primary care experience with confident autonomous decision making.
• Sound knowledge of local referral pathways and safeguarding procedures.
• Right to work in the UK and current mandatory training compliance.

Working Pattern
• Flexible sessional bookings across weekdays.
• Up to 3 days per week available depending on your preference.
• Sessions can be arranged as regular weekly blocks or ad hoc cover.
• Immediate and future start dates available subject to compliance.
