Job Description
Kingsway Locums are looking for Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Stirling.
This opportunity offers flexible sessional work across various primary care services, providing options for clinicians experienced in advanced assessment, same day presentations and long term condition care delivered within a robust governance framework.
You will work within a supportive clinical model with clear escalation, defined scope and efficient practice systems, helping you focus on patient outcomes while maintaining autonomy and professional development.
Up to 4 days a week available with flexibility to suit your schedule.
Role combines autonomous clinics with strong MDT collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of patients.
• Manage urgent and routine presentations with appropriate investigation and referral.
• Prescribe or optimise medicines where within scope and local policy.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and uphold information governance.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses and wider services to coordinate patient care.
• Contribute to service improvement, audit activity and safe clinical practice.
Requirements
• Registered healthcare professional with recognised ACP qualification.
• Recent UK primary care or urgent primary care experience in an advanced role.
• Independent Prescriber qualification where required for the post scope.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding and escalation pathways.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and competence within your clinical remit.
• DBS and compliance documents in line with NHS requirements.
Working Pattern
• Up to 4 days per week available with a choice of regular or ad hoc sessions.
• Session structure agreed in advance to match service needs and your preferences.
• A blended approach may be offered depending on operational requirements.
• Opportunities to extend contracts may be available by mutual agreement.
